spring is on its way!

YA! A day of sunshine and fresh air! It felt so nice to be OUTSIDE! Here are two videos of the boys outside today (Kaden is wearing red sweater and Connor is wearing the grey one). Hope all of you who live in Michigan were able to enjoy the sun today! Spring is on its way!!!

... for those of you that live down south (Georgia and Florida) ... I don't even want to hear it!

A New Adventure!

The Steensma family has began a new adventure! That's right! We're moving and doing it as a family! We have enrolled in Taekwondo at ATA Revolutions and are so excited about it!!! This is a great opportunity for the boys to enhance their self defense, confidence, and respect. Here are a few pictures of the boys breaking a board with Mr. Burns.

ADORABLE

Connor will be 5 this summer. Kaden will be 3 in May.

They are 2 inches apart, 2 pounds apart, and 2 years!!!

Got to love them!

The boys are loving life right now. Connor loves the "Cars" movie and enjoys "tractor tipping" with his characters from the movie. Kaden.. well, he pretty much loves doing whatever Connor does! They both love the "Backyardagains" and "Scooby-Doo". Connor has become quite the master at the game Trouble. He's GOOD... and trust me, you have to put effort into beating him... which Kurt takes great JOY in doing so! Kaden keeps us laughing daily including this week when he thought it was a good idea to scale the outside of our stairs! He told me "it's not a rule Mom"! Well, it is now!

We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary a few weeks ago. We were able to get away and head up to Grand Rapids for 2 days and 1 night! We had a wonderful time. It's an amazing gift from God to be married to your best friend!

The boys hair was so out of control, I did give each of the a hair cut.

The boys are doing great! I gave them fresh hair cuts and even got a little sad that I had cut all of Kaden's hair off. But, hey, it will grow back. Preschool is going great for Connor and Kaden ask daily if he can go to preschool too. One day Kaden. One day soon!

trip to tennessee

Kurt and I had a wonderful time in Gatlinberg, Tennessee with our friends from Florida. We were able to relax in a beautiful log cabin on top of a hill. We enjoyed spending time Kim and James and especially baby Lindsey! She's so beautiful.
